(Past event) Paint-it in Magna – April 21, 2018 – Session #3

Paint-it in Magna is a new program of the Magna Arts Council. It encourages and celebrates the joy of creative art by providing a pathway to help people make their own painting in a single 2 hour session.

This session is taught by local artist/teacher Serenity Forschen. This session is for adults and older teens who have some experience with art. (Including past participation in similar “Paint Night” programs.) Each person will choose their own subject or do some abstract art, while also listening to instrumental music by the rock band THE DOORS in arrangements for String Quartet. Assistance will be available to all participants to assist with techniques.

Session time is from 2:30pm to 4:30pm.

Fee includes attendance at the group instruction session, plus the required supplies. You get a painting canvas to work on and keep. And you get to use all the other supplies you'll need, like paint, brushes easels etc. (After the session you keep your canvas, but the other supplies stay with the event organizers for future programs like this.)
