Paint-it in Magna Art Class Session, Tuesday, December 10th, 2019, 6:30 p.m.

NOTE: This event has VERY limited seating. Sales of seats will begin at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019. Notice the “inventory” count at the bottom of this listing. Seats can only be purchased when they are showing in inventory.

This seating inventory will show as “Out of Stock” until 12:00 noon on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019, then 15 seats will show up for sale. The inventory will count down as seats sell, and will show “Out of Stock” again once those 15 seats are reserved. THANKS!

If interested in attending please order online once the seats are posted as being available for sale. Be ready to prepay by PayPal using a credit card *or* by establishing an account there and depositing cash with them.  But for flexibility, you do NOT actually need to have a PayPal account if you only wish to pay for seats by credit card — you may do that using their “Guest Checkout” option. If you really can’t do either of those methods, send a message to the organizers via Facebook and we’ll try to arrange alternative (cash) payments if seats are still available.

(See the “live inventory” at the bottom of this description to find out if any seats are still available, as there might be updates to this listing.)

Session time for THIS public art class is Tuesday, December 10th, 2019 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Magna Library.

Paint-It Art Classes are a program of the Magna Arts Council. They encourage and celebrate the joy of creative art by providing a pathway to help people make their own painting in a single 2-hour session. The evening is led by local artist/teacher Serenity Forschen, who creates the original artwork and guides participants through a step-by-step plan in each session.

This session is best for adults and older teens, but younger kids down to age 8 are OK, as long as each has a parent or guardian in the room to keep them on pace.

There is a $5 per person “Supply Fee” which includes the required supplies, along with attendance at the group instruction session. The $5 supply fee only applies to people using supplies and making art. (A parent attending only to assist or watch their child, or to provide a ride but not making a painting is not charged.)

You get an art painting canvas to work on and keep. And you also get to use all the other supplies you’ll need, like paint, brushes, easels, etc., which are brought by the organizers.  (After the session you keep your canvas, but the other supplies stay with the event organizers for future programs like this.)
